What is in my everyday makeup drawer? 3rd Edition


I think this might be one of my favorite things to blog about, and that is my every day makeup drawer! I haven't done one since I've gotten my new makeup storage, and I was excited to show you guys, so here we go! 




Going from left to right in my ackrylic container, the front left section is my face products. Right now this includes my Rimmel Match Perfection concealer, MAC Prolong Wear concealer, Revlon Age Defying CC Cream, MAC Refined Skin Zone treatment, Maybelline Baby Skin, Porefessional, Makeup Forever Mat Velvet +, and my Rimmel Stay Matte foundation. This is my favorite section by far, which is why it is stocked full! 


Behind that I have a random mixture of stuff. My eyelash curlers, Makeup Forever Awua Brow, Boi-info concealer, Lash Out Butterfly, Anastasia brow wiz, Benefit Gimme Brow, Stila liquid liner, Rimmel Scandaleyes, and my Maybelline clear brow gel. 


In the middle I have my powder products. My Rimmel Stay Matte, Makeup Forever Duo Matte powder, MAC Soft Sand, MAC Superb, MAC Soft and Gentle, and Mary Loumanizer by the Balm. 


I didn't show what was in the front ride section, and that is because it was nothing interesting. It holds some tools and my Stila Kitten eyeshadow. Behind that are my paintpots. At the moment, I havePainterly, Nubile, Bare Study, and Nubile. These are my absolute most reached for bases. 


And the last section is pretty small. I hold my moisturizer, a pencil sharpener, and my ELF Lip Exfoliator. All 3 products I can't live without. 


This Alex unit is much longer, so I have quite a lot of space behind my organizer. Back here I hold my most reached for palettes. On the far left side I have my Z Palette with MAC eyeshadows, my MAC Riri quad in Her Cocoa, an also my Naked Basics. 


I'm the middle I have Naked 1, 2, and 3, as well as my Lorac Pro. These are my most used palettes, especially Naked 3 and Lorac Pro. Must haves. 


And lastly I have my two MaC Palettes (neither are full) and my Tarte Amazonian Clay blush palette. That palette is my life saver, it is used every single day.

Blogtober Day 24! DIY Remove Black Stains from Hardwood Floors

      This blog is coming to you by accident, of course. I don't know if I've mentioned it much on this blog, but I have two pitbulls. I know, a lot to handle, and one of them is a puppy. She is horrible sometimes, but I can't help but love her. Our whole house is hardwood floors, which I love! Personal Planner Setup

I have been using a planner for as long as I can remember. My little OCD self needs something to keep me grounded and on track. About 3 years ago I discovered Erin Condren as well as the planner community on social media (if you are a planner person check them out, it is such a positive and supportive group of people). If you're not familiar, the Erin Condren Life Planner is an A5 size planner (7" by 9") and is a thick planner. For me, this type of planner is not convenient for every day use so this planner stays at home on my desk and is used mostly for my creative side, not functionality. This brings me to my personal size planner, I use a Kate Spade Wellesley planner which can be bought at the Kate Spade Outlet stores (these outlets will ship to you so call around if you don't live close to one and are interested). Currently as pictured above I am using the red version which was re-released this Summer, and I also have a black version which is always in stock....

Why I'm No Longer Purchasing from Erin Condren

  I'm fully aware that some people might not agree with me on this topic, but I really need to share my experiences with Erin Condren as well as my opinions on why I do not plan on purchasing from this brand any longer.  Customer Service Good customer service is what makes a company, and unfortunately that is NOT Erin Condren's top priority. My personal experience with the customer service has been half and half. The policies and responses to customers is never consistent which makes me believe they make do not have any rules and guidelines for dealing with customer issues. In my opinion a company should have guidelines for handling issues and complaints.  Quality Control I have placed a total of 25 orders with Erin Condren over the past 5 years. Within the last 2 years 4 out of 5 orders have arrived either incorrect, flawed, or completely wrong. Again, only in my opinion, the way that this company lets orders leave there facility tells me that they don't...
