My Every Day Makeup Brushes

I always share my makeup choices for the day, but I never talk much about my brush choices. Every once in a while they will end up in my favorites, but never a full post of my most used picks. So here we are. I'm excited!

FOTD! August 18, 2014

Today is a really great Monday to get back on my FOTD posts. Reason being, I used a lot of different products instead of just my normal go tos. I'm excited to share with you all, so keep on reading.

What's in my every day makeup drawer?

It's been a very long time since I posted a "What's in my every day makeup drawer?" Post, but shoot it's been a while since I've posted at all. I figured I 'd jump back into the swing with one of the favorite type of posts and share my items with you.

What makeup am I taking with me for 10 days?

I know I jipped you all on a post yesterday, but do you guys know how stressful it trying to pack for 10 days?! This trip got thrown on us all kind of last minute, and I'm really just trying to make sure I have everything. Also, that I know everything I'm going to be teaching these people. Work trips are stressful anyways, but 10 days just takes it to the next level. I'm showing you today all of the makeup I'm bringing with me, which I'm kind of proud of myself :) Let's jump in.

What is in my everyday makeup drawer? 4th Edition

I'm getting better you guys! I'm shopping my collection more and more, and finding new and old favorites along the way. Of course, I have been bad and bought some new things for myself, and those have made there way in here too! These items have changed quite a bit so let's dig in, and see what I've been keeping in my every day drawer.

New Makeup Storage (Makeup Organization)

I mentioned in my home decorating post that I had purchased a few more items from Ikea that would show up later. Here they are! I'm always hunt the hunt for the best makeup storage options, and I believe I'm getting pretty close with this new purchase!

Decluttering My Makeup Part 3 (Eyeshadow)

Now I have to be completely honest with you guys, I NEVER open this drawer. I could probably get rid of everything and I'd never miss it, but I'm a hoarder and I just can't do it. Yet! So for now, I'm just going to minimize.

Decluttering my Makeup Part 2 (Foundation and Concealer)

Ok, so foundations, my number one favorite beauty item to try out. Which in turn, gives me a huge mess of a drawer. It gets to the point, where I really don't even know what I have, and certain products aren't getting used when they deserve it.

Face of the day!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great weekend, and hopefully a successful Monday! We are back again to see what makeup choices I picked today? Do you guys have any new suggestions for me? If so, please leave them down below.

Decluttering my Makeup Part 1 (Eyeliner and Mascara)

So, my collection has gotten out of hand. Is there really a need for 3 of the same color of everything? No. It's time for me to down size, so why not bring you all along. First stop is my eye drawer. Eyeliner and mascara, let's go!

What is in my everyday makeup drawer? 3rd Edition

I think this might be one of my favorite things to blog about, and that is my every day makeup drawer! I haven't done one since I've gotten my new makeup storage, and I was excited to show you guys, so here we go!

What did I pick up from Sephora?

My plan came through and I was very lucky to receive Sephora giftcards from my family members for Christmas this year. So, what did I do? I ran to the mall the day after Christmas to start my shopping. There were a few things I had in mind that I knew I wanted/needed, but this was my chance to get some things I might not have gotten if it wasn't for the giftcards.

Merry Christmas! My new Makeup Storage

For Christmas this year, to myself, I splurged and bought myself a new makeup storage system/desk. I am so happy with my purchase and I wanted to share it with you guys!

What is in my everyday makeup drawer? Third Edition

Now first and foremost can I just take a second and mention that this isy 100th post! Holy crap! I've been doing this blog for about 6 months now, and I'm really enjoying sharing my thoughts and details of how I do things, but 100 just feels crazy! I'm so happy I've made it to this point...but now, back to the original point of the matter, my every day makeup drawer. As I've said before, I have a lot, and by changing out some items in my most reached for drawer everything gets much more use. So let's dig in!  My storage unit is a 6 compartment acrylic storage from Target. Now starting from the front left is always my face section. At the moment for foundation I have my Loreal Smooth Soufflé Foundation, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, Jourt Matte Moisture Tint. For concealers I have Rimmel Match Perfection, Benefit Boing, and Covergirl and Olay. Now below this (which you can't see) I have MAC Skin Refined Zone and Hourglass Mineral Veil for primers...

Blogtober Day 27! My Makeup Wish List

Of course, the Holiday season is approaching fast which means that all of the high end brands are coming out with there limited edition products and sets. I do usually go a little crazy during this time of year for the pure fact that sometimes everyone deserves to treat themselves, also it's my Birthday coming soon :) The Sephora Friends and Family Sale is also right around the corner starting November 7th, so here's a few items that are on my list for this year.         The Nars Blush Palette this year is pretty much beautiful. The name is One Night Stand, a little raunchy, but everything from Nars is. I believe 3 of the shades are limited edition and then you have Laguna and Orgasm. This is $65 from Sephora.com, which is a little steep, but the blushes are .02 oz away from being full size which would cost $29 each. It really is a great deal.     The Tarte Off the Cuff Amazonian Clay Blush Palette is another palette that really gets me excited. The Ta...

Blogtober Day 6! If all of my makeup disappeared, which 10 items would I repurchase?

Hello everyone! I remember about a year ago when this video tag was really popular on YouTube. I never really thought too in depth of it, because I didn't have anyone to share it with. Well now I do. I hope you're interested!  We all know I have too much makeup. I like to tell my dad, "At least I'm not on drugs." But that probably isn't the best analogy. I work hard for my money and this is what I choose to spend it on.  If all of my makeup was to one day get up ad disappear there is no way I could repurchase everything, and honestly I don't need to. Of course, I couldn't live without at least a few things so I went through and picked out the 10 items I would go and repurchase immediately.                  Foundation - I would only need one foundation, and frankly I wouldn't need a high price one since the drugstore ones have really stepped up there game. I would go and buy the Loreal Magic Bude Liquid Powder which I did a review of...

Blogtober 4! Face of the Day

Another day of makeup! Of course, it's my favorite part of the day. I'm no artist, but this is my way to be creative.  First and foremost, my favorite from September my Jouer Matte Moisture Tint. I have never received as many compliments as I do when I wear this product. Compliments make us girls feel great, so I keep on wearing it :)  Before applying any powder I use my MAC Radiant Rose Highlighter. My post from yesterday explains how I apply this product, but I'm really starting to like it.  For setting powders I've been using my NYX Stay Matte but not Flat Powder Foundation. I got this on a really good sale and kind of forgot about it, but it is really great. For my highlighter setting powder I like using my MAC Lightscapade, it's very flattering when used correctly. Bronzer, nothing new here, my MAC Soft Sand Bronzer is an all time favorite. I did not picture my blush, of course I forget something, but I chose my Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso. My eyes were neut...

My "Weekend" Face of the Day

Am I the only one that doesn't wear a full face of makeup on the weekends? I strongly doubt it! It's so nice to not have to worry about everything and actually have a "day off".  I didn't plan for this to be an all MAC look it just happened to work out that way.  I used my MAC Prolongwear concealer for spot concealing. I chose not to wear foundation today because it just didnt feel necessary and on top of tht I used myAC Studio Fox powder foundation. I don't find that this gives good coverage, but it does give me a fairly even look over the concealer. There are 3 things that I try not to leave the house without, and those are Bronzer, eyebrows, and mascara. My eyebrow products are the same as always, MAC Espresso and Cork Eyeshadows. My all time favorite brow gel by Anastasia is another must have me. My Bronzer for the moment is MAC Soft Sand from the Temperature Rising Collection. It's subtle but still gives my face a little dimension. Last but not least,...

Face of the day!

Working on a Sunday, wah! I know I'm lucky to have a job and I'm also lucky to have most weekends off so I can't complain too much, but still wah!  My foundation choice is my all time favorite Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in shade B10. My concealers are my everyday picks, MAC Prolong Wear in NC20 for any blemishes and Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer for under the eyes. I can't decide if my Nars Concealer is going to be counted for my project 10 pan or not, I love it, but I don't know that I'll be repurchasing right away. I changed up my setting powder for one that will be counted towards my project and that is my NYX Stay Matte but not Flat powder foundation.  My two everything contour and Bronzer products rarely change, and that is my Sonia Kashuk Cream Bronzer and MAC Soft Sand Bronzer. I use the cream before my powder and then go back in with Soft Sand for any additional color I might need. My blush and highlighter choices weren't MAC Skinfinish in Redhead. I mi...

FACE OF THE DAY

As I talked about in my previous post, I do have a full time job which is an office job. This means that I can't get too crazy with my makeup each day. Although, even on my off days I'm still a neutrals kind of girl. For my foundation, my all time holy grail product, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation in B20. I do have fairly oily skin, but this foundation still works wonders for me. This foundation is usually targeted for dry to normal skin, but this still does a wonderful job for my skin type. This is not a full coverage foundation, but with a setting powder and a little under eye concealer, it is one of my all time favorites for day to day. My favorite concealer at the moment, Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in number 2 Vanilla. This concealer is completely worth the hype. I mostly use this as an under eye concealer and it does not settle in any fine lines and it stays put all day! My bronzer is from the new MAC Temperature Rising Collection in color Soft Sand. I previo...
