July Beauty (and one extra) Favorites

Hello there everyone! Another month in 2014 has come to an end, and I quickly realized I really didn't have that many stand out beauty products. I contemplated not doing this post, but I thought a few products were better than none. I was out of town pretty much this whole month, and that is a big reason why I don't have many new products to share. I'll go ahead and jump right in.

June Beauty Favorites 2014

Happy 4th of July everyone! Better late than never on my favorites, right? I had planned on posting this on Wednesday, but I was just so excited for the new Lorac palette that I figured this could wait one more day. June wasn't a very adventurous month for me beauty wise, but I did have a few products that really stood out for me, so let's get into it.

May Beauty Favorites

Holy crap guys! I think this is the most products I've ever shown in a monthly favorites post, so it must have been a great month! I was pretty bad with my budgeting the month, but surprisingly not many of these products are new purchases. I did pretty good finding some things around the house to fall in love with. Let's jump in because we do have a lot...

April Beauty Favorites 2014

I feel like I have a few more favorites this month than usual, and that's probably because I've been bad, and have let myself do a little bit of shopping. Probably not a good thing! I mentioned in my everyday makeup drawer post, that I had been shopping my collection more, and I think all of my favorites is going to show that I really did find some great products hidden amongst all of my stuff. Let's just jump into it.

March Beauty Favorites

Thank goodness it is almost April. I hate March! I know that might seem crazy, but for the past 4 years, March has been my worst month. Something always goes wrong. It has gotten to the point that I dread March. Now although, March hates my personal life, it was a pretty good month for beauty products. I have quite a few, so be prepared.  And not only beauty products, but drugstore products! Let us jump right in.

February Beauty Favorites

Hey girl hey! February is over! For the shortest month of the year, it sure felt like it was dragging on me. Probably because I have a lot to look forward to here soon. Today, actually, is my 2 year anniversary, so if we could take a minute to shout out my wonderful boyfriend. He is my number one favorite this month! Now onto beauty products.

January Beauty Favorites

Snow Day! Now by this point I'm sure you guys have seen how crazy Atlanta has been the past couple of days (I mean come on guys we were on CNN). I had a lot of time to think about my favorites for this month, because I was in the car last night for 11 hours to go 14 miles! Now can we just think about that for a minute, ahhhh! Now that it is over I am very thankful, some had it much worse than me. At least I had gas and heat and a lot of people were not as fortunate. Now moving on, January is over, and I only have one thing to say about that, THANK GOD! This month was crappy for our weather here in Georgia and I'm ready for Spring. So let's jump into my beauty favorites!  Starting from the bottom (now we're here) my new holy grail primer. Maybelline Baby Skin. I have a full blog post on this product so I won't say too much, but it is great. And for the price, it's a win win.  My two newest products for my collection are my Makeup F...

December Beauty Favorites

The end of the year is literally just around the corner. It's mind blowing how fast this year has gone by. I'm sure many of you can relate to that feeling! This month was a good month for beauty products and I'm so happy to share some of my picks with you.

Best of Beauty 2013

On my way to work this morning, I decided to take the plunge and watch Casey Holme's new video of her 2013 best of beauty products (don't worry, I wasn't driving), so I decided, why not! I love to see the products people continuously keep going back to, and that is how I'm going to treat this post. For each category, I plan on mentioning products that have been by my side for most of the year! Now a few of the categories listed in Casey's video didn't really apply to me, so I've decided to change a few of them up, but these are my overal favorite beauty products from 2013.

Blogtober Day 31! Happy Halloween! October Beauty Favorites

It is finally here! Halloween has graced us with it's presence. I know I didn't post any Halloween related blogs during this month, and unfortunately this post isn't any different. It isn't really easy to do Halloween style posts on a blog. Maybe one day I'll gather up the courage to make a real video for you guys!

Blogtober Day 2! September Beauty Favorites 2013

Another month down, where has 2013 gone? I can't believe it is almost over. The saying very true, time goes by so much faster the older you are. Well, as usual I have a few products that really stuck out for me.  I have never gotten as many compliments only makeup has I do when I wear my Jouer Matte Moisture Tint. I wore this quite a lot this last month, because it's quick and easy, and I had people stopping me everywhere asking me what I was wearing. It really makes you feel good about yourself when people notice, especially when I do put a lot of time and effort into my makeup each day.       On top of my Jouer Matte Moisture Tint I have been settin it with my MAC Studio Fix Powder. I love the look this powder gives me and I have been very satisfied with the results.        I bought this a few months ago and it was a little light for me in the shade NC20. I decided to keep it since Fall was coming up fast, and now...

August Beauty Favorites

I can't even remember if this month flew by or not. It feels like forever since my last favorite post, but yet it doesn't feel like September. I did a lot this month, but buying new products wasn't one of them. That's a good thing though, because I've been shopping my collection. So lets get started.  First is my Maybelline Shine Free FitMe Stick Foundation. Wow, that's a lot to type for a name. I was out of town this past weekend and this stuff was great for easy application. Quick and easy products always make it into my top favorites, because a lot of times I'm on the go.            My Michael Todd Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub has been my best buddy this month. Another travel essential of mine this month, this stuff works wonders. I have a full blog post review on this product if you're interested.  Stila Kitten, how did I live without this shadow for so long? I really didn't think it was anything special, but ...

July Beauty Favorites

Long time no talk guys! I'm so sorry I've been a little MIA this month, but I have been busy!!! I went on vacation with my family this month, and as soon as we got home my boyfriends family came in to town for a long weekend, so I've had a house full! As stressful as it could have been, but also quite a lot of fun, I didn't really have much time to try new things or really experiment with any new products. I also had a two year old, who really enjoyed watching me "Paint my eyeballs!", so my makeup was quite minimum. Also, to top it all off, I had a sunburn from hell! No amount of sunscreen helped my fair skin. Through all of the chaos this month, I still have a few products that stuck by my side.          First is my set of Pacifica Tuscan Blood Orange items. I bought this at Target on sale in June and I've had all of the items in my purse ever since. This scent is breathtaking. It's wonderful for summer and it's great for on the go. The lotion was...

June Beauty Favorites

I know you probably hear this all of the time, but June flew by! That's probably because I have a vacation coming up at the end of July that I'm trying to save money for, and time is flying! This month I didn't really experiment much with my normal day to day face makeup. I just wasn't feeling adventurous, and to top that off it's over 100 degrees where I live most days, and the humidity is outrageous! So...when I find something that's working and not making me look like an oily mess, I try to stick to that for a while and hope for the best during my long days. Now, speaking of not being an oily mess, I have found my holy grail setting powder. I don't know why it took me so long to give this product a try. Especially considering it's $3! The Rimmel Stay Matte Powder is absolutely wonderful. I have never tried anything that compares to this powder. I was a firm believer in MAC Mineralized Skin Finish Natural, and this is better! On the packaging, this...
