  It is finally complete! I have been working on decorating this bad boy for a few weeks now and I'm in love! Thanks to my dear husband we were able to turn this cheap IKEA shelving unit into an adorable farmhouse style kitchen shelf pretty easily. See below for our step by step!    This is the IKEA Mulig Shelving Unit which is $59.99 for the largest size. This measures 47 1/4x13 3/8x63 3/4 "    We purchased a 3/4" piece of plywood at Home Depot in which we got cut in store for each shelf. These measure 46 1/2" by 13"    Also at a Home Depot we purchased a tube of Loctite Power Grip and a small can of Golden Pecan stain . This stain matches a few other items in our house so they would all look cohesive.    Once home, let the staining begin.      After one coat of stain was dry we used the Loctite to place the plywood on the shelves...

  Over the past few months, we've been updating our home decor room by room. My craft desk was previously in my breakfast nook area in my kitchen, but it just wasn't gonna work there anymore. At the same time of my redecorating, I'm also doing some serious decluttering (using particularly the Konmari Method, stay tuned for more info) which means I really wanted to downsize this area.  

  Farmhouse decor, ugh, it has taken over my life. I've mentioned that I am slowly trading my home decor into the farmhouse/rustic style and next on my list was my living room bookshelf. When choosing the shelf and how to stage I've learned a few things I want to share with you all. 

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is obsessed with Farmhouse Decor. It seems to have taken over the world one episode of Fixer Upper at a time. I've been slowly converting my home decor one room at a time and I'm so happy with how things are looking so I've decided to share a few of my new pieces starting my entryway! 

After my long search for the perfect desk to fit into this area of my house, I quickly realized I didn't have anything to decorate with! Good thing I love to shop! I also started putting some things in the drawers, so I figure I'll show you guys a sneak peak. 

Ikea did it again! I was bored, and I was on the hunt for knick knacks and Ikea was my medicine. Probably a big mistake, but it was fun, and I'm really loving everything I got. Do you guys want to see?
