Who has been invited to a Christmas party this year and has to bring a meal option? Probably most of us. Today we are about to head off to my family Christmas party, and we wanted to bring an easy, fun, and quick desert option. I headed to Pinterest, as usual, and found this wonderful recipe for No Bake Reeses Cheesecake cupcakes, and I would love to share my take on the recipe with you guys!
Ingredients:
-1 box of Jello Brand No Bake Cheesecake (per 12 cupcakes)
-1 bag of individual Reeses cups (also per 12 cupcakes)
-1 bag of topping (I chose reeses peanut butter chips)
-Cupcake Pan
-Cupcake Liners
It's important to start first with lining your cupcake pan and placing one Reeses cup per liner in the pan. This allows you to be ready once your cheesecake mix is ready.
After lining your pan. Open your No Bake Cheesecake and follow the instructions for the filling. These instructions include 1 1/2 cup of milk and a mixer. It takes about 5 minutes to prepare the filling.
Once your cheesecake mixture is mixed, spoon the mixture into each individual cup. After filling, this is where you can add your toppings. Like I said above, I chose Reeses Peanut Butter chips.
After the peanut butter cups were applied, I decided to add some graham cracker crumbs on the top of each. The graham cracked crust comes in the box of Jell-O No Bake Cheesecake. Instead of creating a crust, I used this as an extra topping and sprinkled it on the top of the cupcakes.
Once decorated, place your cupcake pans in the refrigerator for at least an hour!
And ta da! The end! Probably the easiest desert recipe I have ever experimented with.
My retail price for this recipe was around $14 for 24 cupcakes! Can't beat that.
What did you guys make for your Holiday parties this year?
