Christmas Eve Questionnaire

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I hope it's going wonderfully for everyone! I don't really have much to do today, we always celebrate on Christmas, but a relaxing day off work is really all I could ask for. I realize I did not do a Monday Questionnaire yesterday, but here's an even better questionnaire completely about Christmas! Who can turn that down? I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday. What was on your wish list this year?

 Hot Chocolate or Eggnog...Hot Chocolate all the way. I have never liked the taste of eggnog. Maybe it's an acquired taste.

Does Santa wrap gifts or leave them unwrapped under the tree...
Santa did not wrap his gifts, he always set them out on the couches for us. I always got the big couch since I was the oldest. :)

Colored lights or white...
This year we have colored lights, but I really prefer white lights. It just looks so much cleaner and classy.

When do you decorate....
We have always decorated either Thanksgiving night or the day after. This year we were out of town the week of Thanksgiving so we decorated the Sunday before.

Real or fake...
Fake. I love the smell of real trees, it is just really too much work.

What type of topper tops your tree...
I have a bow ribbon this year that my Grandmother bought for me.

Favorite Christmas memory or tradition...
I was just talking about this last night...we have always talked my dad into letting us open gifts on Christmas Eve night. It always drove him crazy, but he always caved.

Favorite gift as a child...
Ahh, I have no idea. My mom always went a little overboard. For the past few years my dad and boyfriend always get me a charm for my Pandora bracelet, I would say these are my most recent favorite gifts.

Do you prefer giving or receiving...
Who can lie and say they don't enjoy getting gifts? Not me, I do love it, but I also enjoy getting gifts and making gifts for everyone. I love to see the happiness in their faces.

What is your favorite Christmas song?


Candy Canes...yuck or yum?
Yum, but I love the Jolly Rancher flavored candy canes. Your whole face turns blue!

Online or stores?
Both. Anytime I find something in the store, I always check eBay for a cheaper price.

Photo Cards, Letter, or Store bought?
Hmm, really all of the above. I have a photographer boyfriend so pictures are always on stack, but  I love being able to write my personal touch on cards.

Blogtober Day 24! DIY Remove Black Stains from Hardwood Floors

      This blog is coming to you by accident, of course. I don't know if I've mentioned it much on this blog, but I have two pitbulls. I know, a lot to handle, and one of them is a puppy. Personal Planner Setup

I have been using a planner for as long as I can remember. My little OCD self needs something to keep me grounded and on track. About 3 years ago I discovered Erin Condren as well as the planner community on social media (if you are a planner person check them out, it is such a positive and supportive group of people). If you're not familiar, the Erin Condren Life Planner is an A5 size planner (7" by 9") and is a thick planner. For me, this type of planner is not convenient for every day use so this planner stays at home on my desk and is used mostly for my creative side, not functionality. This brings me to my personal size planner, I use a Kate Spade Wellesley planner which can be bought at the Kate Spade Outlet stores (these outlets will ship to you so call around if you don't live close to one and are interested). Currently as pictured above I am using the red version which was re-released this Summer, and I also have a black version which is always in stock....

Why I'm No Longer Purchasing from Erin Condren

  I'm fully aware that some people might not agree with me on this topic, but I really need to share my experiences with Erin Condren as well as my opinions on why I do not plan on purchasing from this brand any longer.  Customer Service Good customer service is what makes a company, and unfortunately that is NOT Erin Condren's top priority. My personal experience with the customer service has been half and half. The policies and responses to customers is never consistent which makes me believe they make do not have any rules and guidelines for dealing with customer issues. In my opinion a company should have guidelines for handling issues and complaints.  Quality Control I have placed a total of 25 orders with Erin Condren over the past 5 years. Within the last 2 years 4 out of 5 orders have arrived either incorrect, flawed, or completely wrong. Again, only in my opinion, the way that this company lets orders leave there facility tells me that they don't...
