Happy almost New Year! If you're anything like me you've got a million things on your mind that you want to change for the upcoming year, but will they really happen? Of course! We have to think positive. What are some of your resolutions this year? I hope you all have fun tonight and be safe! 

My plan came through and I was very lucky to receive Sephora giftcards from my family members for Christmas this year. So, what did I do? I ran to the mall the day after Christmas to start my shopping. There were a few things I had in mind that I knew I wanted/needed, but this was my chance to get some things I might not have gotten if it wasn't for the giftcards. 

The end of the year is literally just around the corner. It's mind blowing how fast this year has gone by. I'm sure many of you can relate to that feeling! This month was a good month for beauty products and I'm so happy to share some of my picks with you. 

For Christmas this year, to myself, I splurged and bought myself a new makeup storage system/desk. I am so happy with my purchase and I wanted to share it with you guys! 

Merry Christmas Eve everyone! I hope it's going wonderfully for everyone! I don't really have much to do today, we always celebrate on Christmas, but a relaxing day off work is really all I could ask for. I realize I did not do a Monday Questionnaire yesterday, but here's an even better questionnaire completely about Christmas! Who can turn that down? I hope everyone has a wonderful Holiday. Now first and foremost can I just take a second and mention that this isy 100th post! Holy crap! I've been doing this blog for about 6 months now, and I'm really enjoying sharing my thoughts and details of how I do things, but 100 just feels crazy! I'm so happy I've made it to this point...but now, back to the original point of the matter, my every day makeup drawer. As I've said before, I have a lot, and by changing out some items in my most reached for drawer everything gets much more use. So let's dig in!  My storage unit is a 6 compartment acrylic storage from Target. Now starting from the front left is always my face section. At the moment for foundation I have my Loreal Smooth Soufflé Foundation, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua, Jourt Matte Moisture Tint. For concealers I have Rimmel Match Perfection, Benefit Boing, and Covergirl and Olay. Now below this (which you can't see) I have MAC Skin Refined Zone and Hourglass Mineral Veil for primers...

On my way to work this morning, I decided to take the plunge and watch Casey Holme's new video of her 2013 best of beauty products (don't worry, I wasn't driving), so I decided, why not! I love to see the products people continuously keep going back to, and that is how I'm going to treat this post. For each category, I plan on mentioning products that have been by my side for most of the year! Now a few of the categories listed in Casey's video didn't really apply to me, so I've decided to change a few of them up, but these are my overal favorite beauty products from 2013. 

This month is once again flying by, and Christmas is literally right around the corner! I'm very excited about the Holiday season this year, because for once I'm able to spread my cheer with many of those around me, and hopefully make their holiday season that much more special! Another Monday is upon us, so here is another questionnaire to start the week off right. 

Here we are again for a battle of the subscription boxes! I have to be honest with you guys, this will be the last month of these post. I did cancel my subscriptions. For two reasons, but let's get into that after we find out who the winner is...

Who has been invited to a Christmas party this year and has to bring a meal option? Probably most of us. Today we are about to head off to my family Christmas party, and we wanted to bring an easy, fun, and quick desert option. I headed to Pinterest, as usual, and found this wonderful recipe for No Bake Reeses Cheesecake cupcakes, and I would love to share my take on the recipe with you guys!

I've shopped my collection this week and I wanted to share with you guys a few of my newer picks. 

Now I'm going to have to take a guess and say this isn't the first post you've seen on decorating coffee mugs, but I wanted to go ahead and share my approach and my techniques with you. This is the gift I have made for my Grandmother this year for Christmas (don't worry guys, it's still a surprise, she doesn't understand the internet). I ALWAYS make my Grandmothers Cheostmas presents, it feels like so much more this way.  Supplies needed -  Coffee Mug Sharpie (oil based) or a paint pen Oven  Creativity First you start out with a blank coffee mug. Dollar Tree is the best place to purchase a mug, for two reasons, one it's $1, and two the cheaper cups hold the sharpie the best. For best results and stating power, use an oil based sharpie or a paint pen if available.  I had no idea what I wanted to draw so I called my boyfriend in for his art skills, I have none. All I want to be doing right now is sitting on my couch with some warm tea and reading a book (or watching my recorded Bonnie and Clyde). It's another Monday, which means another week has began and must be finished.  1.) Mood:  - Happy that my cold has come and gone without turning into bronchitis (happens almost every time.  2.) Does the winter season tend to draw you indoors, or outdoors?  - Indoors. I don't enjoy the cold, but the winter always means crafts for me! Which I love! I like to be busy, and when I stay indoors, I get extra creative.  3.) Would you rather wear summer clothes in winter, or winter clothes in summer?  - Summer clothes in the winter, you can always layer. 4.) Current nail polish:  - Nail Rock caviar in Red and Gold. I got it at TJ Maxx last week for like $5.  5.) What is your idea of a holiday makeup look?  - A would love to be able to pull off dark lips! I love that look in Fall ...

Am I the only one who craves makeup for my birthday and Christmas? Ha, who am I kidding? Obviously we all do or we wouldn't be here right? Now, this year I've strategically asked all of my family to give me Sephora gift cards hoping that it works out in my favor and I'll get to go a little crazy. I don't like to go bat shit crazy in there often because I can't justify it, but with gift cards, I have to go a little buckwild right? So, with all of that said, who are the few things I'm looking forward too...

The time is finally here...my Naked 3 has finally arrived! I missed ordering the first time it was on the  website, and when I received the email the second time around I knew I wasn't going to miss it again. (Side note: Urban Decay did not send me an email the first time around, even though I was signed up for it :()

It's been a while since I've done a face of the day post, so I decided I would grave you all with my information! I enjoy seeing peoples daily picks, and a few of these items have quickly made there way to my every day choices. 

Holy December! I can't believe it is already here. This year has flown by, and let me just say a ton has happened with me this year. Some good and some bad, but it's almost over now! Another Monday has come and here we go! 1.) Mood: - I'm in a pretty good mood! Work was easy, luckily after a Holiday weekend. And best of all, I was able to order to Naked 3 Palette! I'm so excited. 2.) You call into the radio station to request a holiday song-- which one is it? - Hmm, I'm not really huge on Christmas music, but probably Rudolph. It's a classic. 3.) What is your ideal handbag size? - I would say medium/large. The only purse I carry is my work bag, so it has to be a good size for all of my apocolypse items. 4.) Current nail polish: - Nothing. Once again, I'm slacking. I promise, I almost always have my nails painted until I do these questionnaires. 5.) What is the last fragrance you wore? - My new Pink Sugar! I got a great deal on it yester...

  Hello again, to another favorites post. For once, I feel like this month did not fly by, which for me is a good thing, because Christmas is approaching fast! I have quite a few favorites for you this month so let's jump right into it.

My Birthday was on Monday, the 25th, so I decided why not share a few birthday gifts with.  This year I knew it wasn't going to be a big one. The older you get the less exciting it is for you, so I was ok with a low profile situation. 

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I have a very busy day ahead of me, and a weekend trip starting this evening, so I thought, why not leave you guys with another beauty tag? As you can probably tell, I like doing these, and that's for two reasons. One, they're fun for me, it makes me think about my collection, and two, they let you get to know me a little better. Eyeshadow palettes, ahahaha. My absolute guiltiest pleasure when it comes to makeup. I find myself rarely buying single eyeshadows, because with palettes, you get so much more for your money. With this being said, let's get into my favorites, and least favorites.

My gift to myself for successfully completely my makeup no buy, the Lorac Pro Palette. I have wanted this thing forever, but lately I just haven't been able to justify any large purchases. After one full month of not even buying a mascara, I went for it. I felt like I deserved it.

It is finally here! Halloween has graced us with it's presence. I know I didn't post any Halloween related blogs during this month, and unfortunately this post isn't any different. It isn't really easy to do Halloween style posts on a blog. Maybe one day I'll gather up the courage to make a real video for you guys!

This is another tag that I have been watching on YouTube for a while now, and I'm not sure who created this one, but it's interesting. I am going to share which high end makeup items feel worth it to me. If I could have an unlimited amount of money to purchase one item for every category, what would I choose. Here we go:             Foundation: Hands down, Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Foundation. I believe this retails for $42, and it really is worth it. Wonderful coverage.       Concealer: Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer which retails for $28. This stuff doesn't compare to any other product I have ever tried. Very worth the splurge.  Powder: My favorite powder changes every so often, my skin is so oily I have to keep tryin new things. The MAC Studio Fix is my favorite at the moment and it is $29.       Bronzer: As you might be able to tell, I love Nars Cosmetics, but some products there prices are just too much for wha...
