Ikea did it again! I was bored, and I was on the hunt for knick knacks and Ikea was my medicine. Probably a big mistake, but it was fun, and I'm really loving everything I got. Do you guys want to see?
My last DIY post was about painting my hutch. Since then, I've been trying to find things to style/decorate and I've always wanted a candle plate thing. The white plate was $4.99, and I've always tried to buy it and every time I go the white is sold out. Finally, it was in stock and I jumped on it. The three candle balls were $1.99 each and I really like the look of these.
My coffee table was also in my last DIY post, and I've always had my black Target tray with candles on top, but they were pink (they smelled the best) and my living room isn't pink. So I grabbed three white candles for $1.99 each and changed up the color scheme.
I've looked at these mirrors at least 5 times and I didn't know where I would put them if I bought them so I've always passed them up. This time I went with it, without measuring of course and I got 9 of them for my dining room. Unfortunately, our light fixture didn't want these to work out, so I decided to still go with it and do six instead of nine. I love how this turned out.
I had three left, and decided they would work perfectly in my entry way. These mirrors were $1.99 each (that was the price of the day) and for $18 dollars I was able to decorate two areas!
Lastly, is my new vanity chair. My original one was also from IKEA, and it had definitely seen better days. It was cheap to begin with and after 3 years it was a little squeaky and tired. This new chair was $17.99 and much more sturdy. Also, pretty darn comfortable.
Now I did purchase a few more things on my trip, but those will be saved for another special post ! I hope you guys enjoyed my cheap and easy decorating items from IKEA!
