Monday Questionnaire - March 13, 2017

 


I'm thinking about bringing back my Monday Questionnaires...what do you think? After these two years of not blogging it's interested to go back and see what my answers would have been at that time of my life. Maybe we'll try it today and see what we think? 


1.) Mood:
-I'm very tired today. Daylight savings kicks my butt every year! 

2.) Are there any Spring trends that you're loving so far? Any that you hate ?
-

3.) Do you like to cook?
-Absolutely not! I can't cook for the life of me. 

4.) Current nail polish:
-I don't even remember the last time I painted my nails 😐
5.) What is something you are excited about at the moment?
-Next week in general! We have a full week of game shows planned (weird I know). We're going to see the Price is Right on Tuesday and Family Feud on Friday. I'm pretty excited! 
6.) Current outfit:
-I'm wearing my berry cardigan, white camo, grey leggings, and black boots. My very common comfy outfit. 
7.) Are you a heavy or light sleeper?
-Once I'm asleep, I'm usually out, but it takes me FOREVER to fall asleep. I have to have silence, darkness, and nothing stressful on my mind or I'm up for hours...

8.) What size handbag do you prefer?
-Medium. I seem to have a lot of large bags, but I just put WAY too much stuff in them. I do have to have my planner with me at all times which means I can't go too small. 
9.) Do you like karaoke?
-I enjoy watching karaoke, but I do not want to sing! I don't need the glass shattering! 

10.) Weekly goals:
-Budget. Stay positive. Keep the house clean and organized.

Blogtober Day 24! DIY Remove Black Stains from Hardwood Floors

      This blog is coming to you by accident, of course. I don't know if I've mentioned it much on this blog, but I have two pitbulls. I know, a lot to handle, and one of them is a puppy. She is horrible sometimes, but I can't help but love her. Our whole house is hardwood floors, which I love! Personal Planner Setup

I have been using a planner for as long as I can remember. My little OCD self needs something to keep me grounded and on track. About 3 years ago I discovered Erin Condren as well as the planner community on social media (if you are a planner person check them out, it is such a positive and supportive group of people). If you're not familiar, the Erin Condren Life Planner is an A5 size planner (7" by 9") and is a thick planner. For me, this type of planner is not convenient for every day use so this planner stays at home on my desk and is used mostly for my creative side, not functionality. This brings me to my personal size planner, I use a Kate Spade Wellesley planner which can be bought at the Kate Spade Outlet stores (these outlets will ship to you so call around if you don't live close to one and are interested). Currently as pictured above I am using the red version which was re-released this Summer, and I also have a black version which is always in stock....

Why I'm No Longer Purchasing from Erin Condren

  I'm fully aware that some people might not agree with me on this topic, but I really need to share my experiences with Erin Condren as well as my opinions on why I do not plan on purchasing from this brand any longer.  Customer Service Good customer service is what makes a company, and unfortunately that is NOT Erin Condren's top priority. My personal experience with the customer service has been half and half. The policies and responses to customers is never consistent which makes me believe they make do not have any rules and guidelines for dealing with customer issues. In my opinion a company should have guidelines for handling issues and complaints.  Quality Control I have placed a total of 25 orders with Erin Condren over the past 5 years. Within the last 2 years 4 out of 5 orders have arrived either incorrect, flawed, or completely wrong. Again, only in my opinion, the way that this company lets orders leave there facility tells me that they don't...
