Blogtober!

I have given myself a challenge. I want to blog every day of October. I can't promise they will be anything crazy or spectacular, but I plan on bringing you quick posts every day of the month.  I have made this personal challenge a little more difficult for myself. I have put myself on a "MAKEUP NO BUY". If you read some of my previous posts I was trying a "Project 10 Pan", but I didn't do very well. I did not stay as focused as I wanted to. I wasn't as determined as I wanted to be. I'm making this a little easier for me. I will not buy any makeup from October 1st through November 1st! So instead of finishing productsa certain amount of products I'm forcing myself to use my own products without trying anything new for the full month.  So you might be thinking, "How am I going to come up with 31 days of blogs without new products to review or do a first impression of?" It's going to be tough, but I'm going to do it!  Hope everyon

Monday Questionnaire September 31, 2013

Tomorrow is October. Can you believe? I remember exactly what I was doing on New Years Eve this year and it really doesn't feel like it was that long ago. I guess the saying is true, time goes by so much faster the older you are. Let's start this week off right with a questionnaire. I have some exciting things coming for October, but you'll just have to wait until tomorrow to see.  1.) Mood: -Frustrated. I'm giving up on the Riri Loves MAC Fall Collection. Not worth it.  2.) When making a sandwich, do you care if one of the bread slices is the end of the loaf?  -I never eat the ends. I know it is a waste, but I just can't do it.  3.) What is the weather like today? -It's a very nice fall day today. Slightly chilly at the moment, but it's great to sit outside and enjoy it after the summer we had.           4.) Current nail polish:  -Butter London in LA Moss from my Ipsy bag this month, with a Sally Handen Nail Strip as an accent finger. 5.) What ring setting

YouTube Made Me Buy It

I've decide to change the world! Ok, maybe not that serious, but I'd like to change one thing. I've decided since I'm still too shy to make an actual video of myself, why can't I still do the tags? World changer? Maybe. Recently, I've seen a lot of videos going around of the products that are bought because of YouTube videos. I don't know if it's called "YouTube made me buy it" or "YouTube made me do it" either way same concept and surprisingly, it's a lot of stuff.  First and foremost, my Nude Tude Palette by the Balm. I blame essiebutton for this one, because she spoke very highly of it. It is not a regret that's for sure. I waited on this one and got a really good deal off of Hautelook.  One of the first items that I remember being raved about on YouTube is the Revlon Lip Butters. There was no one in particular who made me buy these, because everyone was talking about them. Good job Revlon!  My newest purchase is the M

Tough Life Situations

I really have no idea what I plan on saying in this post, but it's very late, I'm the only one awake and I was given some very horrible news this evening. I have no one to speak to at the moment and I don't know if I can calm down and sleep until I get a few things out.  My grandfather passed away around 9:00pm on September 22, 2013. He was the young age of 83. I never really imagined this day would come. Of course, death happens to everyone, but you can never truly grasp the concept until it is too late.  There are things that have made this a little easier for me. One is that we knew this was coming. He was taken to the ER last Friday. He was given oxegen from a Bipap machine for one full day. We were told at that hospital visit he would not get better. It gave us all a little clarity of the situation and maybe a little closure of some sort. Second, he had made his peace. As horrible as it might seem to me, he was ok with this. He was told the news and told to share it wi

What is in my everyday makeup drawer?

Today I was watching JAMBeauty89's new video of what was in her everyday makeup drawer at the moment, and I was inspired. I think most people with a lot of makeup like me might have a most reached for drawer.  Unfortunately, my drawer does stay pretty much the same. This really isn't good for someone with a lot of makeup. I need to make it more of a point to switch out my products more often, and here we are. I plan on doing a post with what is in my drawer every month or so to see what changes. This gives you guys something entertaining to rear and gives me the motivation to shop my stash like I really need to.               The first section is face products. My favorite! I have my Smashbox CC Cream hiding in the bottom there to the left. I also have Neutrogena Healthy Skin as well as Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua. My newest favorite is the Loreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder foundation, which I do plan on doing a full post on. Also, myaybelline FitMe Shine Free Stick Concealer, I keep

Monday Questionnaire On a Tuesday September 24, 2013

(Image was found on Google) If you guys have read my previous post you would probably understand why this post did not go up yesterday. I did not plan on doing this questionnaire at all honestly, but when I lay in bed at night and my mind starts to wonder it's really nice to have something to take my mind off of things. Maybe this will be a thing, Monday Questionnaire on a Tuesday? Why not? This week won't be too involved like my previous posts and I hope you understand. Thank you guys so much for being there for me in my time of need.  1.) Mood: -Honestly depressed. It's been a long two days, but I am getting better. My only worry of the moment is my Grandmother and my Dad. As long as they are ok, I'm going to be fine.  2.) What is your favorite article of clothing to shop for? -Hmm, shirts? I hate shopping for jeans, who doesn't. I mostly enjoy work clothes shopping. I got a very nice blazer I'm very excited about.  3.) Three hours ago, I was _________

BATTLE! Ipsy VS Birchbox September

Another month another subscription box. Am I over it yet? A little, but I keep trying for the best. I learned this month that quite a few of my co-workers are subscribed to these boxes and that was kind of exciting. We compared, of course we're women.  Birchbox came first this month so lets get started.                     First is a nail polish by the brand Ruffian in the shade Hedge Fund. It is a really pretty Fall color that is definitely "in" right now. I've never heard of the brand, but I do like the color so it's worth a try.                  Next is the Caudalie Makeup Remover cleansing Water. This will probably get used, but I do wish I got something else from Caudalie. It's an "ehh" in my opinion.                   For the 3rd month in a row (at least it seems that way) another hairspray. This month is Amika Bombshell Blowout Spray. It will get used, hairspray always does, but nothing too exciting.             Egyptian Magic Skin Cream, a gi

CELEBRITITTIES TAG

So I'm sure this isn't a surprise to anyone that I spend quite a lot of my free time watching youTube videos (I know, I might need a life, it's ok though). I find it fun to watch the different people doing tag videos and all of the different answers given. I started thinking, 'Hmm, I'm terrified of being on camera, but does that mean I couldn't answer the questions?' I don't think so, lets try it.    1. If you could be one male and one female celebrity, who would you be? -Julia Roberts and George Clooney. Weird because I'm 22, but they are amazing and beautiful. Enough said.               2. If you could marry one celebrity who would it be? -Adam Brody, hands down!             3. If you could star in a movie, what genre would it be and who would be your co-star? -Shia LaBeouf, I feel like he's probably an asshole, but I've loved him since Even Stephens a million years ago. It would be horror, just like Disturbia.           4. If you could liv

Monday Questionnaire on a Tuesday September 17, 2013

(Photo provided by Google search)  One week and I already messed up with my Monday Questionnaires. I'm a slacker. I did post two blog posts yesterday though so I hope you understand. Lets jump into it and I'll explain my picture above a little more. Please let me just say, I've had a small family emergency going on and it's been tough on me, but having this blog to keep me busy has really helped me, and I appreciate each and every one of you for that.  1. Mood:  - I had a rough weekend. My grandad is sick and it has really taken over me. I'm drained. It has drained me emotionally and physically, but it will all get better.    2. What did you have for breakfast?  - Coffee! I don't eat much breakfast, even though I know it's bad for you. I have coffee every morning and then I grab and early small lunch before heading into work. This morning however, I did have a sausage biscuit that my Grandmother made for me. Brought me back to my childhood.          3
